RAPID CITY, SD — The visiting Utah Grizzlies came to town for a 2-game series against the Rapid City Rush.
Utah would take the Friday night contest by a 3-2 tally with Rapid City’s rally from a 3-0 deficit falling short.
The Rush would rebound in the re-match on Saturday night as their back-and-forth contest brought them to their first overtime period of the season. Hunter Garlent tallied the game winner just 0:35 into “free hockey”.
This contest also included the “Stock Show Kickoff” jerseys from the Rush and celebrated all the outstanding rodeo athletes from the great state of South Dakota.
