RAPID CITY, SD — You might’ve been to a hockey game, but probably not one like this.
The ladies of the Rapid City Rush – wives, girlfriends, and staff – went head-to-head against the moms of the Rushmore Thunder on Tuesday night, and for a good cause.
It’s the second year for the event, which was started by Rush higher-ups Jared Reid and Todd Mackin. The game is a fundraiser for the Rushmore Thunder and helps keep hockey local and accessible.
While some have skating experience, it’s really all in good fun.
Here are the highlights of the event.
