Rapid City Rush Booster ClubDon't forget! The Rush Crew will be holding a rummage sale fundraiser this Saturday, May 19 beginning at 7am! POC for this will be Tara Kammerer, please contact her via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or phone at 605-863-1522 - small donations can definitely be picked up and stored until the event -- and we may be able to make arrangements for larger items if you need them to go right away. Help us get a great start on next season's fundraising!

At the rummage sale we will be raffling a one-month's pass to Ultimate Goals Fitness in Black Hawk. This is a 24/7 facility, and the pass will allow you to not only use the gym, but to attend their classes (except Zumba). In addition, they have a tanning bed that can be used on site as part of the pass. Each entry will be $1, and this one month pass is worth approximately $35.  It's a great opportunity for the lucky winner.  All this, for $1!!!

Rapid City RushOn Thursday, the Rapid City Rush officially signed their first returnee for the 2012-13 season, announcing the return of reigning Central Hockey League (CHL) ‘Defenseman of the Year’ and ‘Man of the Year’, Riley Weselowski. In addition, the Rush completed their side of futures trades, acquiring defenseman Justin Sawyer from the Wichita Thunder and forward David Solway from the Tulsa Oilers.

“Today is a big day for the team,” said Rush General Manager Tim Hill. “To bring back Riley, an All-Star and the CHL’s Most Outstanding Defenseman, is obviously huge for the team itself. However, even more important is the impact he has representing the Rush off the ice and in the Rapid City community. He’s the reigning ‘Man of the Year’ for a reason and these are the type of young men we want in this organization. At the same time, I’m very excited to bring David Solway and Justin Sawyer into the fold. Our goal this offseason is to make this team younger and tougher and these two players fulfill that need.”
