PRETORIA, South Africa -- Landon Donovan scored a stunning goal in the first minute of injury time, advancing the United States to the second round at the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Algeria. With the U.S. perhaps three minutes from elimination Wednesday, Donovan brought the ball upfield on a counterattack and Jozy Altidore's shot on the breakaway was tipped by Clint Dempsey into goalkeeper Rais Bolihi. The rebound went to Donovan, who kicked it in from about 8 yards for one of the biggest goals in U.S. soccer history. "I've been through a lot in the last four years," Donovan said half an hour after the end, crying and his voice cracked. "I'm so glad it culminated this way. When you try to do things the right way, it's good to get rewarded."
The staff at EHP Designs and Free Sports Press have been hard at work coming up with a solution to better deliver our photos to the public for purchase, with a multitude of options available. After much research we found that SmugMug would be the best way to go. EHP Designs has agreed to host a category on their SmugMug gallery specifically for photos displayed on Free Sports Press. So now you can not only view the richness of the photo as it was originally shot, but you can also click on it directly from the article to be taken to our SmugMug gallery for purchase.

I realize I've let that portion of the site dwindle during the 2010 football season (not exactly broadcasting from the locale I had hoped) but I look to rev that back up starting in 2011. I've decided to include all of the video blogs from the 2009 football season here as a jumping-off point.
Coble, under the direction of Lady Hardrocker head coach Barb Felderman (30 years), has helped guide the Lady Hardrockers to 12 conference championships, nine NAIA Women’s Basketball National Tournament appearances, five NAIA Sweet 16 appearances and two NAIA Final Four showings. “I’ve contributed a lot over the years, but I’ve received so much more back,” Coble said. “My life has been so blessed and there have been so many great people that I have come in contact with. I have had so many great experiences and so many laughs --- it kind of keeps you young I guess.”
